Gulf Oceanic Marine Contractors, INC was incorporated in 1995 under the state of Louisiana to facilitate business in marine transportation and logistical services. GOM utilizes committed company employees to build long working relationships with our clients, for safe and efficient operations.  

The company’s knowledge of the marine environment encompasses domestic and foreign markets, which stretch back beyond the 70’s, with roots in the maritime business in the late 1800’s.  At GOM our main objective is to decrease our customer’s bottom line through expressing core competencies in efficient tug and barge operations, whether it be in the navigable waterways of the United States or long sea towing throughout the Americas.
